In The Beginning...
Welcome to my blog. This post marks the beginning of my blogging experience on blogger, and hopefully the many more posts to come. I've tried a blog before, but failed to update it regularly and the idea eventually faded out of my mind. However, today I received an e-mail from the amazingly talented actress/singer/director/etc. Evalyn Baron with a link to her blog - http://www.compostmoi.blogspot.com/ - and was re-inspired to again instate a record of my life. Interesting or not, here it is! I will try to keep it recent and pretend that people actually read it, hopefully they do.
Anyway, today.... nothing much of any coincidence is happening. I'm working on my monologue a bit for college auditions. I go to NYC on January 27th for auditions at The Juilliard School and Fordham University. I usually get extremely nervous when I talk about them, sometimes to the point of indigestion. That seems to be subsiding, however, as time goes on and inevitability of it all emerges. I am working on my monologues with the genius actor Mike Ostroski, whom I cannot thank enough for his overly generous help. Unfortunately for me though, Mike is out of town and will not be returning until the 17th of January so I am on my own until that time to learn the pieces and work on them. Mike did leave a guideline though, with twelve points about what I should do to make the monologue live. It is, however, a work in progress.
Now I must quit writing away my time on the blog as I have a college essay to write for Fordham!!! I hate the application process.... Anywho, thanks for reading, and do come again to see what has progressed.
